The Farris Foundation

The Foundation's basic objectives are to underwrite, and participate in, activities that encourage people to better themselves; fund community projects that benefit the public at large; sponsor gatherings to promote Christian ideals and mores; and support Christian ministries and higher education throughout the world. These objectives are accomplished by our involvement in various Christian and secular ministries, projects, and organizations through either partnerships or strategic alliances.

We continuously search out, qualify, and partner with those organizations and ministries that meet our mission statement and participation objectives.

We believe in the Triune God — Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

We believe that God is the Creator and Sustainer of the universe and reveals Himself through the Old and New Testaments and at present through the Holy Spirit.

We believe in Jesus Christ, the incarnate Son of God, born of a virgin, the Way, the Truth, and the Life, who died on the cross for man's sins, rose on the third day, and is coming again.

We believe individuals become Christians (Christ followers) by a personal relationship with, and a commitment to, Jesus Christ.

We believe the Holy Spirit indwells every believer and equips every believer with gifts for service and witnessing.

We believe the whole Bible is Truth, complete in its inspiration, and authored by God.

We believe that man is created in the image of God; therefore, we believe in the sanctity of life.

We endeavor to serve Christ by ministering to, and helping, others — particularly those who, through no fault of their own, cannot help themselves.
